Why I won't put stock JellyBean on my NS4G

I recently rooted and installed CM9 and the battery life, while still awful, is significantly better. Previously, I could be sitting with the phone in my pocket for 2 hours and it would lose 15-20% of the battery life (due to poor reception). With CM9, in the same place, it'll only lose about 5-6% which means I can actually use the phone for most of the day.

From what I've read about JB on T-Mobile Nexus S's, it looks like battery life is even worse than ICS. So I'll wait for CM10.

What about everyone else?

The version of JB the NS4G will be receiving is an updated version. Sprint waited until most of the problems were fixed before pushing it out.

For example, Sprint JUST posted on their forum (here: Sprint Community: Jelly Bean Update?) that the update will fix a pretty annoying SMS bug in ICS/JB where you get garbled text messages with no senders.

And I'm on a jb rom from this site thanks to Paul and its 100% stable and battery life is awesome and I'm a power user

Battery life with CM10 is awesome. I've been off the charger since 10am and I am at 57%. This includes 30minutes of music, moderate texting and internet usage.

JB in general is an overall improvement in many areas. I won't discuss the rooted side of things any further since this is the general section of the NS4G but I think stock or custom ROM speaking everyone will be very happy with what Jellybean brings to the table.
