Why is Android Auto automatically starting?

Since the December update, every time I start my car, Android Auto starts up. How do I shut that off???

If you mean AA starts on your phone but not on the car, there is couple settings in the AA app that will auto start AA:Settings->Car Settings-> Turn On Automatically

Settings >>>>Car Settings>>>>>Drive mode

Though using it on the phone is not as great and experienced as having Android auto in the car people like to use it on the device because it's more driver-friendly then just using your device without it.

Oddly enough, I tried using it on my phone on my motorcycle and it would not send sound information to my BT headset in my helmet. If I ran Waze and Pandora separately, it worked.
