Android Central Question

Any time I cast photos or video to an android device the quality is very poor. It's pixelated and we'll below expectations. Sometimes the first photo is perfect, but then I swipe to the next and the quality drops immensely. I know it's not my wifi or other device as my old phone (Sony) and my wife's current phone ( LG) work flawlessly. Is there a setting in the P20 I am missing?

Thanks

Possibly you have your photos backed up to Google Photos, so you're only casting the thumbnails on the phone. Try downloading all the pictures you want to cast before you cast them.

I've had the same issues since Pie update. When I cast photos to my TV, they are pixelated

Are your photos saved as high quality or standard.

If it's standard perhaps it's the quality in a bigger screen that's causing it.

Standard. Been working fine for years, it's just since the 9.0 update. I'll need to try casting them from my Chromebook and see what happens there
