Why is charger cable so short?

Is it just me, or does anyone else think the charger is short? All of my previous chargers have had ample length, but this is so short I have to sit right by the wall!

Other than that the phone is awesome!

yeah, when i had the droid incredible, its cord was short as well. i have my bed against a wall and every other phone i had reached from one side of the bed to the other. the droid incredible's (and i guess the evo's when i get it) only reached half way (and i have a tiny bed).

Yeah I always hated how short the pr?'s charger cord was and then I laid it next to the evo charger and its much shorter.

I just searched down 25 pages to find this link again! (I remembered seeing it before)

Sprint wanted 27 bucks for an 850ma pre car charger.... I just got a 1a car adapter and also the 3ft, 6ft, and 10ft usb to micro usb cables for $8.47 shipped!!!!!!!!

No more cable problems anywhere!!!!!!!!

Hopefully someone posts when the hdmi cable comes out!

Good luck, people are reporting problems (phone touchscreen not working at all when plugged in) with cheap USB Cables both connected to computers and the HTC wall adapter. PLEASE be sure to let us know how it works out so the rest of us can buy some if they do work.

I can tell you already that monoprice micro-usb cables work quite well with the EVO. I've had a few I've ordered and been using with my pre and now use them on the EVO. The price for them might be cheap, but they are good cables.

You can trust monoprice when it comes to cables.

just got my 2 Sprint OEM travel wall chargers. great build quality, folding prongs, and a nice long cord. not cheap but worth it IMO.

I am using the monoprice 10ft micro usb cable on my iPhone ac block, works great!!

Just received mine and it doesn't fit into the EVO.

EDIT: Figured out the problem. The little prongs wouldn't move so i had to fiddle with it a bit to get them to push down.
