Great summation as I share many of your sentiments. I am an Epic owner, and I will wait until Samsung starts a trend of rolling out updates timely and efficiently before I buy another Samsung. HTC, Motorola, and others don't seem to have this problem. There is no reason to take a chance on them again without proof that they have changed the way they support their products. By the way, there were rumors the GB update for the Epic would roll out at the end of July. Seems to be a familiar pattern.

While I appreciate his candor, we still don't know 1) If it's coming out for Sprint, and if it does, 2) When is it? A month after it hits Verizon? 6 months? I like the idea of not having to wait for Samsung or HTC or whoever to update their front-end before we get an update, but how long do we have to wait? I'm going to hold off until November, then I'm going with whatever I can get on Sprint at that time.
