Why is galaxy tab stuck in boot loop?

i really need help. I have my stepsons galaxy tab. Not sure wich one but problem is its like stuck ina reboot loop and the power +down action is not working. What do i do????

Welcome to the forums!

Hold power+down+home and see if that loads the recovery. From there you can try clearing cache and reboot the device to see if that does the trick. Let us know.
