Why is gmail not a sharing option for photos anymore?

Since i accepted the Lollipop upgrade on my Galaxy Note 4, the camera (and other apps) no longer list gmail as a sharing option when you select a photo. I have to leave the camera app and look at the photo in the Google photos app then share from there.

I have exactly the same problem. Anyone got any ideas?
