Why is it every time I turn my cell on after charging, I receive duplicate text messages?

Why everytime I turn my cell on after charging

Why am I recieving duplicate text message from same person everytime I charge,plug in, or restart my cell?
Also, why am I getting interference static and echos with certain people I speak to? Not all calls, but a few ppl in general.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 .
I have had this cell since it was the newest galaxy note. This just started last 6 mo?
