Why is it saying “Unfortunately YouTube has stopped”?

[Android Central Question]

My step dads tablet keeps having a message box pop up that says “unfortunately YouTube has stopped” but he doesn’t even have YouTube on the tablet and once you hit okay it pops right back up 5 semiconductor later making it really hard to do anything on it. Help!

Welcome to Android Central! YouTube is preinstalled on most tablets -- which one does he have? Go to Settings>Apps and look for YouTube there. Select it, then tap Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now see if the problem persists.
