Why is it saying sent an hour ago when i just sent a text on snapchat

[Android Central Question]

The clock on my phone is right but when i send a text on snapchat... it says that i sent it an hour ago. I will send it but it will say something like, "Send 59 minutes ago" I dont know how to fix that. I've tried logging out and deleting the app but nothing works.

Have you tested with another text If same?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using a VPN? Is this on wi-fi or mobile data?

Using a VPN for a server one timezone away would explain this.
Otherwise, a one-hour difference is usually a coding error related to daylight savings.

Or, if you set the time manually, and your timezone is set wrong. Or snapchat has a bug.
