Why is it so difficult to answer or reject a call - S20+/S9

On my old S9 and my new S20+, the phones do not immediately respond to my touch/swipe when trying to answer or reject a call. I have to repeatedly perform the action. All other functions and apps respond perfectly to my touch.

maybe you're touching the edge of the screen with your palm...

Try enable touch sensitivity in settings>display >scroll to bottom page toggle screen sensitivity
