Why is my android phone light flashes every few minutes

The flashlight is actually flashing every few minutes on my android phone

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Go to Settings>Accessibility and see if you have an option for Notification Reminders, and if so, turn that off. Also see if you have an option for notifications to trigger the LED flash, and turn that off.

Go in safe mode also see if it still happening?
