Why is my Apex EMDOOR EM63 tablet showing 0 (zero) total storage space?

Apex EMDOOR EM63 tablet says 0 (zero) total storage

At first, our Apex tablet ran fine, but then it started acting hinky, finally not taking updates, nor installs, and was spontaneously resetting; it now shows the total storage at 0 (zero!), and subsequent resets don't change the total storage count, but the reset takes everything else back to factory settings apparently. You have to jump through hoops to get tech support. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry to say, but my guess is that it's a hardware defect, either with the motherboard or with the memory chips. Not that surprising for an off-brand device, unfortunately. There may not be much you can do about it.

A hardware issue was my take, too - just wanted to hear an expert opinion; thanks for the help...
