Why is my Asus Zenfone black screen blocked when I call or receive call?

my Asus Zenfone black screen blocked when I call or receive call.

my Asus Zenfone after the last update 2 days ago of android has a black screen blocked when I call or receive call. I was told by asus to reboot the system cause the problem is android I did that and after it updated android again the same problem is back. Can someone tell me how I can get this fixed.

Hi!! My asus phone is zenfone go and unfotunately the LCD i guess got damaged that's why the screen is sometimes going black or sometimes it just acts really weird. It still touches though and functioning well except for the screen which most of the times not showing anything. Ive consulted couple of repair shops about replacing the LCD but im really having doubts of replacing it bec I may just waste my money for LCD replacement and still get the same issue. Now my question is, is it practical to replace the LCD or just buy a new phone instead? Thanks to whoever can provide ma an answer. That would be a great help.
