Why is my battery draining so fast since I did the marshmallow upgrade

I have an lg g4 and loved it til the upgrade my battery life was incredible. Now it drains incredibly fast. In the time it takes to have a shower I lose 15% battery. I hate marshmallow n now I'm hating my phone.
