Why is my battery draining?

It may be that the battery is failing. What you describe can be an indication of that.

Lithium Ion batteries are like a gas tank with a pinprick in the bottom that each time you refill it, you drop a little pebble in it. Eventually there will be so many pebbles that even though the tank is full, it won't last very long. May just be time for a new battery. Or you could have some app or apps running in the background consuming the battery. Higher temperatures also decrease battery life.
