Why is my camera on my Droid Moto Z wavy and why are my pictures blurry now?

Road motorcycles to Glacier National Park. After taking a few pictures my camera on my phone started to act up. In one picture my friend is standing in front of a log.....picture turns out normal (log perfectly straight). We switch positions and now I'm standing in front of the log. Log appears wavy and my face is blurry. I looked at the camera in live mode and notice the screen was wavy. The problem is intermittent, but my droid that used to take great pictures no longer has the quality it used to. Can anyone tell me what is wrong or how to fix it.

Try cleaning the lens. Inspect the lens to make sure nothing is obscuring it like a nasty little bug crawling about. If it has a removable back cover, lift it off and inspect inside.

Try and look at the lense when you have the camera active and see if the lense is behaving normally. Sometimes you can see it get stuck trying to focus or even go haywire and wiggle back and forth. If you aren’t able to clean it and you can’t fix it from the outside, the only other option is to try and clear software.

Make sure you have all your stuff backed up just in case, then clear the camera app data.

settings -> applications (make sure show system apps is enabled) -> camera -> storage -> clear data.

Clear anything you can and see if that works.

Good luck
