Why is my data not working?

I got a new Android Fiesta. The data isn't working and I have tried twice with Straighttalk and gotten nowhere. I need help.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get the phone from Straight Talk, or did you get it from somewhere else and bring it to Straight Talk?

I got it from Straighttalk.

make sure to put in the apn settings. check on their website what the settings are.

and then try restarting phone
