Why is my earpiece cracking and distorting after re-assembly?

earpiece cracking distorting after re-assembly

put a new lcd on . re-assembled the phone most things working well however...

the earpiece is crackling now and there is distortion esp at high volume

tried a new speaker - padded it with foam - tried bending the leads out so it would have better contact

nothing works

any ideas or advice are appreciated.:'(

simple electrical circuit --- can't be that hard ( i got this far)

looks like the daughter board was not setting right
there's supposed to be a clip that keeps it in place
but it kept popping out
taken to super gluing the board down
i know this is risky as i wont be able to remove it
but the gap between the daughter board and the contacts for the earpiece
was sufficient to cause noise.
