Why is my Galaxy S4 is slow after the latest Verizon update?

Galaxy s4 is very slow after latest verizon update

I just installed the latest Verizon update to my Galaxy S4, The phone is a lot slower now..especially pulling down the notification bar. Any suggestions? Is anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't noticed anything slower yet. Just started playing with it after the install a few hours ago though

See what happens if you boot into Recovery and wipe the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: Reset: Samsung Galaxy S 4 | T-Mobile Support. These steps should still work on your Verizon device.

What was the whole point of this Verizon update anyway? I don't see any changes with the phone nor 4.4 so someone please tell me what the point of the update was? Thanks

Verizon usually gives you information on their updates on the support page of the specific device on Verizonwireless.com.

That's exactly what the update entails. Now I'm gonna go out on limb and say that us verizon customers will not be seeing 4.4.4 on our s4 ' s for quite some time.... thanks for the info... much appreciated.
