Why is my Galaxy S4 video recording horribly pixelated on playback?

Galaxy S4 video recording is horribly pixelated on playback

I have had an S3 and S4 and on both phones after I shoot a video and then go back to watch it from my gallery, it's HORRIBLE... It shrinks down in size and is completely pixelated... My daughter has an S4 and when she plays her videos back hers looks exactly like when she shot the video... why does mine look so bad? Other videos, i.e. Youtube, facebook, etc., are perfect.. it's only the videos I'm taking...

Welcome to Android Central! Open your Camera app and tap the Menu button, then check the settings. Make sure your video camera resolution is set to the highest.
