Why is my Galaxy S7 only charging from my car or laptop?

Out of no where my phone will not take a charge from a wall charger. I've had the notice come on in the past about moisture being detected in the charging port but it was never around any water, and it always worked after a few minutes. I've tested the cord, wall piece and tried different outlets but it will only charge via the usb port in my car or to my laptop which is much slower and very frustrating. Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean that you tested the wall piece? Did you confirm that your wall charging plug works with another device? If not, then try using a different wall charging plug.

The cord and charger will take a lot of abuse. I ran mine through the washer and dryer. Still works great.
