Why is my Mate 20 Pro battery draining?

[Android Central Question]

Just bought a brand new Huawei Mate 20 pro. Took it out of the box and it was only on 57% battery, and after that I used it for about an hour and set up and synced everything, and the battery went to empty. Is this something I should be worried about or is it a first time setup thing. Or is it the apps I installed eg. Snapchat and Instagram.

Setting up a new phone can make a heavy demand on the battery. Charge it to 100% and see how long it lasts with normal use.

Hi, welcome ! I think your going be ok .

I set mine up last evening, started on 67% ran out whilst I was updating. charged overnight and all is well today.
