Microphone volume low when calling & completely normal when recording.

So yeah, today I witnessed the weirdest of all problems. My buddies complain they cant hear me when talking on the phone. I tested it myself with my gf's phone and my voice was clearly really low. But when recording via voice recorder/ whatsapp, the volume is completely normal.

I opened the phone up, checked that everything was ok with the mic and closed it. Same result.

Any ideas how to fix this? Anyone else sharing the problem?

Thanks.

EDIT: Happens all the time.

EDIT 2: Factory Reseting solved the problem for 1 day. Then it started again.

does it happen intermittently or all the time? if intermittent use speakerphone as a workaround until a permanent fix.

Happens all the time, must be a software issue rather than hardware?

Worked fine for one day after the factory reset. Then the problem started again. Again it works perfectly fine when recording and keeping the phone on ear. But when someone calls / I call, the volume is way too low to hear anything.

Hello,

I have the exact same problem with my galaxy Alpha. When i'm in a call the other guy can't hear me.
I think is hardware problem, or if is a software how to fix it...
