why is my music widget not available on lockscreen?

Since I have updated my Samsung s5 operating system to lollipop it seem that whenever I play music I don't get the music widget on the lock screen. The only way I can change the track is by using the air view feature. it is extremely frustrating and I really hope there is a solution.

What music app are you using and do you have your lock screen notifications turned on?

Try going to your settings, sounds and notifications, while locked, and see what it is set to.

You may not have turned on the notification when the phone is locked. Follow the below easy steps to turn on notifications.

1.Go to Phone Settings
2.Tap on Sound and notification
3. Go to "When device is locked"
4. Select "show all notification content"
