Hi lovely Nexus5 lovers,

I always had great experiences with my phone.

But this morning, the weirdest thing happened. My Phone DIED :'(
I just decided to uninstall "Google inc" app from the app store (thinking, anyway I don't use google now).

But since then, my phone didn't do anything. Couldn't go back to the homescreen or use home button.

So I tried to reboot, and now it just stays at the "4 colors screen"

Please help if you can,

Julien

Re: This morning, complete FREEZE: Uninstalled Google NOW :(

The Google Search app includes Search, Google Now and the Google Now Launcher (probably your only launcher) for Nexus devices. I can't figure out how it would let you uninstall that app (uninstall updates yes, uninstall entirely shouldn't have worked). Is the 4 colors screen the boot animation with the circles and such?

Hi Darth,
Yes it's the boot animation with the circles.
Thanks for the fast answer btw !

I also tried holding volume down and power, which lets me access to the booting setting.
Recovery mode doesnt do any thing (says "no command" with a "dead android" in the middle of the screen)

And you are right, it's probably only the updates which were uninstalled.

Any idea what I can do so that I can start my phone and use it again ?
