Upon updating to Marshmallow on my AT&T Note 4, my vibration is no longer working. It will work upon startup and a few minutes thereafter, but then it will cease to function. Can someone provide insight as to why this is occuring?

I have not installed any malicious apps and have also checked the settings/power saving mode to ensure that it should be working properly.

Thanks Everyone!

Thanks for the response B. Diddy and yes, it does occur in safe mode. It will work upon boot and then after 1-2 minutes, no vibration

If it happens in Safe Mode, that suggests an issue with the firmware or the hardware. Try wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28932

Wiping the cache and even a factory reset does not solve this problem. I am still having this problem after performing both tasks. It's definitely not a hardware issue as the phone vibrates when you reset it and stops working when in the OS a minute and sometimes longer after it starts. When I did the factory reset, the vibrate worked while I was setting it up the phone (which was a few minutes felt by haptic feedback when typing) and stopped after Android 6.1.0 was up and running. Any ideas on how else to solve this problem?

Mine is doing exactly the same.

Wiped the cache and did a factory reset.
