Why is my phone acting up?

To start off, I have a brand new business router from Charter and it works perfectly with my Xbox One. I have no disconnection or lag whatsoever, but for some reason when I try to connect my phone to my WiFi, it connects, but I have the issue of my connection being somewhat more slower than my 4G connection. What can I do to fix this problem?

Welcome to Android Central! What kind of download speeds are you getting over wi-fi? You can easily test by opening the Google app and typing "speed test." Then use the web-based speed test that Google uses.

See this guide for some tips: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...roubleshooting-wi-fi-connection-problems.html. I'd specifically check if there is a QoS setting in the router's settings.
