Why is my phone going completely black and I cannot get screen back again?

why is my phone going completely black and I cannot get screen back again

This is second time my phone has gone completely black without warning. Last time it did this (one day ago) I put it to charge overnight and it worked fine for approximately 5 hrs. then no warning went black again

It may be worth trying a new battery.
