Why is my phone not registering my microSD card?

I dropped my phone in salt water. Then I put it in rice. There were several issues due to crystallized salt deposits in my phone, so I did a 99% isopropyl alcohol soak for 30 minutes. I then did another rice session. After this, my microSD problem occurred.

It appears that the card is now corrupted or the salt water damaged the contacts on the card or in the device.
Have you tried another card in the slot to see if that is recognized by the phone?
There is card recovery software out there, most of it trial based. You may want to give that a shot if there is important data on the card.

As a last resort, most companies have a three year warranty on microsd cards, so you may want to reach out to them and see what they can do.
