Why is my phone playing the wrong video?

[AC Question]

So,every time i want to play a video on my phone(via gallery)
The screen goes completely blank for a few seconds and then plays an another video i have or shows a picture.
All of my videos are foing this and my antivirus says there is no corruption or viruses.
Can somebody help me?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Does this happen after a reboot, or in Safe Mode?

I'm experiencing the same problem. I click on one video and another starts, normally the first one on the list. It just started happening. Restarting doesn't help.

Hey all, I'm having the same issue, if anyone has a fix it'd be greatly appreciated.

Anytime I go through my videos and try to play one, the screen just goes black for a second, then goes to the latest pic or video I shot and I have to manually left swipe through to get back to the one I want.

It seemed to start after I messed around with the memory card, popping it in and out while I played with the phone. Don't know what else I did.
