Why is my phone screen distorted?

why is my phone screens distorted

I am having screen problems on my Samsung galaxy 4s active. when you go to emails the background is gray, dark and lined. On my home screen and lock screen the colors are very dark with distortion of the pictures. What gives and can I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Can you show us some screenshots of what you mean? http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html. If the screenshots look normal when viewed on other devices or on your computer, then the problem lies with the screen itself.
