Why is my S Calendar showing a deleted contact event?

S Calendar showing deleted contact event

My wife is using a GS4 on T-Mobile, all latest updates, and is coming up on the anniversary of her father's passing (12/1). She has the event as an "other" in a Google contact for him, and it shows up on her S Calendar under Birthdays. However, another event that she previously created and deleted is also showing up.

Any ideas why a deleted event is showing up, and how to delete it?

Easiest would be in the associated gmail account on a PC. At the same time look how the permissions are set up for the mobile devices. I have allowed full rights on my Note 4 but limited my S4 my wife's S4 and daughter to read only for my calender.

Yes, thanks. Problem is, the event that's showing up in S Calendar has already been deleted in Gmail contacts and no longer shows up there.

Sorry I can't help further. I only have Splanner on my S4 and use Business calendar exclusively.
