Why is my S7 too slow to answer calls?

[Android Central Question]

I am starting to get really annoyed. My S7 is so slow that typically I can't even answer phone calls because it takes too long for the screen to present me with the "Answer Call" screen. It's absolutely absurd. The phone is $700 and I am unable to reliably take phone calls with it. On top of that, the battery life is ABSOLUTE garbage. If I am lucky, I can use the thing for an hour before having to recharge it. I don't really have the money for a new phone right now, so please someone please help me!

No help, still super slow in safe mode after clearing the cache.

In that case, it's either a firmware problem or a hardware problem. Try reinstalling the firmware using Smart Switch (http://www.sammobile.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29914) or Odin (http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html).
