why is my samsung galaxy note 4 not regestering on network

hi
i bought a samsung galaxy note 4 Model(sm-n9100) and have been trying to connect to the mobile subscribers in my country kenya. At first all was well but later the phone has refused completely to connect to the network provider.
i have noticed that it is only connecting where there is strong 4g network. for 2g and 3g it refuses to connect. the sim card is okay as i have tested on another phone.
how can i solve this problem.

Go to: Settings > Connections > Sim card manager

Make sure both SIM 1 and SIM 2 are on. If the sim cards you put into your phone are compatible with the SM-N9100, then you should see the phone numbers associated with the sim cards.

In the sim card manager, you can specify which card is your preferred sim for voice and data.

Under "General" I set my phone to Dual SIM always on.

Note that SIM 1 works with 2G/3G/4G LTE and SIM 2 only works with 2G.
