Why is my screen black after the Android update?

screen is black after android update

I have an android warp zte 4g, i recently did the latest ZTE update and apparently the whole screen turned black..i can receive calls and text but i can't see nothing else after i back out to the main screen

Welcome to Android Central! Was this an official system update pushed by ZTE or your carrier? Does the screen work at all? When you shut the phone completely off, then turn it back on again to reboot, do you see the welcome logo screen, then the lockscreen?
