Why is my secure folder not accepting my PIN number?

[Android Central Question]

I have used my secure folder many many times there are different Gmail accounts on my phone but after looking at Google photos and trying to send a link to my daughter, my phone lock pattern would not work. So I panicked and went to the Google find my phone app thinking I could reset my screen lock but Google said if my phone already had a screen lock to use that one. Samsung had to reset it. But now I cannot get into my secure folder! how can I open my secure folder without losing the data in there? I am using the right pin code but it's not working. Also it says I only have 9 attempts left to enter the right pin, but I AM using the right pin, it just wont accept it.

Welcome to Android Central! If you did a factory reset, that wiped the phone of all local data. So if you had something in the Secure Folder on the phone that wasn't backed up or synced anywhere, it's gone. Sorry!
