Why is my 'Select Runtime' option missing in the Developer's Option menu on my LG G3?

'Select Runtime' option missing in the Developer's Option menu on my LG G3

No matter how hard I look I simply cannot find the select runtime option in the developer's menu to switch to ART. It's simply not there. I have a Rogers LG G3 and the device performance has been pretty sluggish since I bought the thing. PLEASE HELP. I'm not really sure what else I can even do from here...

1) Is it running Lollipop? KitKat doesn't have ART.

2) Ask Rogers. They may have disabled ART.

I just got bought a Rogers LG G3 used that has been unlocked and I am currently using it on Bell. It's currently on Android lollipop 5.0.1 and I also do not see the "Select Runtime" in my developer options.

Do you have any recommendation on how to proceed? And what do you mean by ask Rogers; could they even do anything to enable it?

If you are running android 5.0 then you are running on art and when running on 5.0 the select runtime in the developers section is no longer there, reason being you are running art which is the standard for lollypop.

Lollipop cannot run in dalvik. Therefore the option is no longer available.
