Why is my SIM card stuck in safe mode

I recently tried to activate my SIM card and my account and now my simcard is stuck in safe mode on the activation screen

Why did you go into safe mode? To exit out just reboot the phone.

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not aware of a Safe Mode for SIM cards. Do you mean your phone is in Safe Mode? Or does it just say that you can only make emergency calls?
