Why is my sound so low when it's full volume?

The sound is very soft on maximum volume. The phone is three months old.. Was working fine and suddenly the volume is faulty

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Is it also low on wired or Bluetooth headphones? If not, then the main speaker might be faulty. See if it still happens in Safe Mode.
