Why is my speaker phone volume so low?

Speaker phone not functioning

Verizon just did an update, I have a galaxy s5. The speakerphone volume is quite. But if I play music it is fine so it is not the speaker. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Try wiping the system cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10404

My Mother had this issue on her S5 as well. Its been about a week since I've fixed it. But I believe you need to go into the App Manager. Under ALL, I uninstalled and Turned off SoundAlive and MusicFX. Restarted and it was back to normal.
