Been having problems with my T2 for a few months now, not long after I got the phone. This is a replacement phone that I received after my original T2 refused to charge anymore.
This issue USUALLY happens when I'm using Maps- the phone will freeze up, shut off, and then boot to the following message:
-----------------
Start Up Failed:
Your device didn't start up successfully.
Use the Software Repair Assistant on computer to repair your device.
Connect your device to your computer to get the Software Repair Assistant.
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (Secure)
failed to validate recovery image
ERROR: Failed to pass validation, backup to fastboot
Fastboot Reason: Fall-through from recovery boot mode
-----------------
It has happened when using other apps as well, but it seems to happen most often when I'm using Maps. Not sure why.
When this happens, I hold the power button down to reboot the phone and it boots normally.
Anyone have any idea what the deal is?
