Why is my Table E randomly activating?

[AC Question]

I just got a Samsung Galaxy tab E 8inch tablet through Verizon. I have set it up and activated it with no problems a couple weeks ago. However, I recently started receiving notifications that it is currently activating and to not shut it off. It does this constantly. How do I stop this? It's supposed to already be activated! It interrupts other apps and drains my battery.
