Android Central Question

i have the samsung galaxy Tab a 10.1 2019 this morning when i was charging it it said that the charging will take 3 hours but after 3 hours i check the tablet and it said that it will take 16 hours to charge i know that it is not the charger problem because i am using the charger and adapter that came with the tablet so i went to device care in settings but its saying that that the battery is ok but also keeps dying when a 20 percent

If that is the 2019 model, then you've presumably been using this tablet for about 2 years. If that is still the factory original USB cable, chances are that has gone bad. I would try a new, or known good, USB cable first.

If it's not your cable or charger then its the battery dying unfortunately. Those are classic signs of a battery going bad :(

It seems a little new for the battery to be going already, but everyone gets slightly different battery life depending on how they use the device. Your last ditch effort would be a factory reset... I've actually had that fix a battery issue on one of my tablets ;)
