So I have an Acer A3-A40 tablet (wifi) and recently there has been something really weird going on with it's wifi connection.
When I connect to my home wifi, the connection is really slow. I'm supposed to get around 13-15mbps download and 1-2mbps upload but the tablet is only getting around 0,8 mbps download and under 0,5 mbps upload. The wifi is working normally on other devices and it feels like the tablet is doing something that crashes the whole router and the wifi goes down for like 10 seconds at times.
Now I have tried using my phones hotspot to connect the tablet to the Internet and it works completely normally like that, and it even gives the right dload/upload rates with the hotspot. I have tried the hotspot on multiple phones, it always works well that way.
I have no clue what to do here, and since the tablet (I'm guessing) is making my router restart, it gets really frustrating when watching videos or playing games.
The router seems to not restart when the tablet is not connected to wifi. My ISP is telling everything is fine at their end and the router is working as it's supposed to.
