why is my wireless charger in my 2016 Silverado take so long to charge

I been having issues with my wireless charger in my 2016 Silverado taking so long to charge my phone. I've had it on the charger for an hour and my phone won't charge to 100% and my phone and charging Pad gets real hot.

Any original wireless pad has a fan.

As you can see here : "you may hear a fan noise".
Wireless charging is much slower than cable charging,obviously. Try to get an usb cable and charge it this way.

your truck isnt capable of "fast charging" only the standard wireless charging speed which yes, is slower than standard charging. I just tore silverado wireless charging pad apart and long story short, the unit is not powerful enough to reliably charge devices like the S7 that have fast wireless charging. If you remove the rubber mat it will most likely work. The previous post is incorrect.
