Why is my xiaomi redmi note 4 screen is all black but all buttons and touch screen is working

Hi guys im here to ask

my xiaomi redmi note 4 got wet by rain when i forgot to take it inside the house,I can power off and on i can also dial and press the back,recent,and home button but the screen is all black i try to put in the bag with rice but after a day i check it nothing happend i don't know to remove the back cover to check it inside now it's been 3 weeks and I havent checking it.My question is what shall i do to make my phone work again please help me
if you have any idea please let me know I want to use it again ASAP

what do you mean in unworthwhile? Do i need to go to the nearest repair center or can i repair it by my self but how i have some repair kit but the problem is i dont know hot to remove the back of xiaomi redimi note 4

Hi Team,

I have the mentioned device with me and it had a problem of not turning ON the screen once turned off..
The exact problem is.

The set normally turns on and able to use by keeping the screen always ON. by selecting
Settings---->Lock Screen---> timer has been set to NEVER.

If once we turns of the screen by pressing the power button to turn off the screen,it turns off normally and if we press the power button again to turn on, it does not turn on .

In this case, we need to start the handset as if we start a new set. I am unable to find the problem.

Mi unlock done, new version flashed successfully using the fastboot rom miui9.0.5.0 and everything went on well. But the said problem still persists.

Request the team to help in this regard.

I was also facing the same problem in my xiaomi redmi note 4.As we know that the screen is turned black but otherwise the phone is working normally,I long pressed the power button,guessed where the power off button lied(in the right side;i hope you understand)and then the conformation button.My phone switched off.After a minute when i tried to switch on it,it successfully opened,and the screen worked as usual.
