Why is my ZTE S3 not vibrating at all?

Yesterday day or so I put my phone on battery saver for a bit. Once I connected my phone on a charger my wasn't virbrating by typing, holding down the on/off button or when turning on the phone. Also, no vibrating response when touching home, back button etc.

Try a Power Off and Restart. Also, make sure that vibration is switched on in Sound & Notification, More Sounds; and in your Keyboard Settings in Language & Input.

Does this also happen in Safe Mode? How do I put my device in Safe Mode?. If so, then it's certainly possible the vibration motor failed. Is the phone still under warranty?

Well the vibrating came back working after I eventually did those predceures that the first replyer told me and now it's not vibrating again. Is it the motor?

I'd still try it in Safe Mode, in case some app you installed is interfering. If it still doesn't work in Safe Mode, then the vibration motor is probably failing.

I just tried safe mode , I got the same results. I don't have alot of third party apps so is it my motor? How do I get it to not fail?

Since it happens in Safe Mode, the vibration motor probably failed. It's one of two truly moving parts in the phone (the other being the autofocus mechanism in the camera module), so it's not surprising that it's prone to failure. Is the phone still under warranty?
