Why is "system data" & "other" eating up half my free space on my LG Tribute?

I have only 5 non-native apps on my phone; just deleted a huge chunk of photos/vids; and my apps are moved to my SD card but still show up in the Internal Storage list. I clear caches frequently but this problem keeps coming back.

Even when you move apps to an SD card a portion remains on the phone. Sometimes it is an even bigger portion than what is moved. We don't recommend moving apps to the Sd card as it is slower than the phone storage.

How much base storage do you have on your phone? You will find the system takes up a large chunk of space if your internal space in 16gb or below. And apps will also take space. You can go into your settings, apps and clear the cache in each app individually. It will free up a bit of space for you.
