Why is talk to text/email not working on my LG Stylo 5 Android Phone?

When texting or sending email, I tap the microphone, it beeps, shows me to speak, but is not typing in my words as I say them. I hit pause and wait to see if it's going to type in my words after but nothing happens. It does say "saving audio to my emai address". I don't want the audio saved, I wanted it typed in right away like it used to. Been going on about 4 or 5 days now. I keep thinking it will correct itself but it has not.

I am having a similar issue. I recently switched from a LG5 to a Moto G7. I was using and have continued with Tracfone services. Prior to the switch I was able to dictate text passages when using Message+ whether I had the data connection enabled. Seems that after the switch, the talk to text feature only works when the data connection is enabled. What am I missing? Any ideas as to where I might get this sorted out?
